Totally Canine Dog Walking and Visiting is a professional service offered for when you are unable to spend as much time as you would like with your dog, and if day care is not an option that suits.
Let our fully trained, DBS checked and insured staff relieve your mind when you can't be at home. We will come to your home to take your dog for a walk either individually or in a group, or visit to spend time playing, training and feeding him. When you get home he will have had his walk and be pleased to spend time with you. We will leave you a report card to let you know what he has been doing, and how his behaviour has been.
Contact us now to arrange a free Meet and Greet session. During this time we will make sure we have the information we need to give your dog the best time possible, and (of course!) meet your dog and make friends. It is essential that your dog gets to know us and we get to know him – and for you to know that he will be in the best hands, so you can be free from stress, worry and guilt.
All of our friendly, professional and experienced staff are trained to read canine body language and understand play behaviour; they are all able to undertake basic training, and they all hold certificates in Canine First Aid and CPR. Most importantly, they all love dogs and enjoy spending every minute they can with them!
All individual walks and visits last for one hour, which may include some travel time to the walk area. Group walks are normally a little longer due to the increased travel time between multiple pick up points. There are a maximum of three dogs per dog walker. If dogs are not walked directly from your home they will be transported in secure crates in our fully insured, air conditioned van. Walks can be individual or group, on or off lead or on a long line or flexi-lead; this will be discussed at the free Meet and Greet session. Group walks will be a maximum of three dogs per dog walker, and dogs will be assessed to make sure they all get on well together.
You may not want your dog walked – he may be very young or old or there may be another reason – for instance, dogs with short noses such as French Bulldogs will not want to be walked in hot weather. Don't worry! We can do a home visit instead. We can spend time playing, undertaking some short training sessions, feeding, cleaning if necessary, and generally making sure he is having a good time and will be happy to settle down afterwards.
